KB Contracting began with Karsten working in carpentry, building and fixing homes across Colorado. Over time, he realized he was more drawn to the dirt than the drywall. What started as a few small equipment jobs quickly turned into a full‑blown passion for excavation. With his black lab Gup riding along, Karsten built this business from the ground up, focusing on honest work, clear communication, and helping people tackle projects they can’t (or don’t want to) do themselves. Today, KB Contracting offers more than basic excavation—it's a full‑service operation built on grit, loyalty, and a genuine love for the work.
